Photovoice - Nepal

Participatory photography study on how hope builds resilience in Nepal after the earthquake 2015. We used a hybrid approach drawn from the ‘Photovoice’ and ‘Participatory Video’ methodologies. These approaches use a set of techniques to enable a group or community to tell their own stories using a visual medium.

"Rocks are God. It is an altar where you worship. This is related to the hope and people go there and worship, thinking they will get hope and good things in your life. Some people go every day and some people just for festivals."
